The Blog Virus

Just like how Jeroen inspired me writing my own new year's resolution, Eric inspired me to write this post. Actually I don't have anything special to talk about, but this blogging-virus is just so contagious raspberry. I quite enjoy reading the blogs of my friends. Maybe it's because we all are living miles away and blogging gives us an other way of communication.

I included scripts for post syndication on my blog now so when you write something it should automatically show up on my blog as well :D

I know about wordpress. I just like having my own system. Last night I also was thinking about using your RSS feeds and integrate it on my own blog. And maybe I should also implement Gravatar on my website.

Alfred already has a blogging system. Check alfredwesterveld.com. This is a blogger system so not as flexible as your own system. Btw Sam do you know wordpress? I always liked using my own CI apps but wordpress wins hands downs on the feature set and ease of maintenance. But again maybe we could also github our own CI system.

Here is an Idea... I actually have been playing with this for some time now but after reading your blog post I think it is time we should implement this. You should aggregate Eric's, Alfred's and my blog posts in your own blog. I want to do the same with Alfred's, Eric's and yours and maybe Eric and Alfred will want to do the same. So we all have more updates on our blogs and it might inspire us to write/blog more.
